Using only straws, tape, and popsicle sticks, students designed and built contraptions to protect their eggs during a drop test. It was a race against gravity, and the creativity was incredible!
Did their designs survive the fall? We'll let the photos show the results! Great job, everyone, on learning about impact, structure, and design failure/success!

Our 1st and 2nd graders at Memorial Elementary are mastering the art of telling time!
To make the lesson stick, some of our classes got crafty and built their own paper clocks. This hands-on activity helps students visualize the movement of the minute and hour hands, making a tough concept much easier (and more fun!) to understand. Great job, young time-tellers! ⏱️

Last night, we were thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Rachael Brown, Memorial Elementary's Teacher of the Year, and Mrs. Olga Ortegon, our well-deserved School Related Employee of the Year!
These two truly work hard every day to be the absolute best for our students. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication! ❤️

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students crushed their recent STEM challenge! They worked hard to design and build impressive notecard towers 🏗️.
But the learning didn't stop there! Students wrote words and phrases to describe what scientists do, and then we had an important discussion: Because of the investigating and learning they do every day, they are scientists, too!
Take a look at these amazing projects and the future innovators hard at work!
