🏁 Finish Strong: Every Day Counts!
The finish line is in sight, but the race isn't over yet! 🏃‍♂️💨
As we head into the last nine weeks of school, it’s easy to catch "Spring Fever," but staying consistent now is what sets the stage for a successful next year. Here is why showing up every day matters:
Final Concepts: This is when teachers tie everything together. Missing a day now means missing the "aha!" moments that make the whole year click.
End-of-Year Projects: Group work and final presentations are in full swing. Being here means supporting your team and getting that grade you’ve worked hard for.
Building Momentum: Finishing the year with strong habits makes the transition to the next grade level so much smoother.
Memories & Milestones: From awards ceremonies to yearbooks and final celebrations, these are the moments you’ll want to look back on!
Let’s keep that energy high and the attendance higher. We are so proud of how far our students have come—let’s cross that finish line together! 🎓✨

The MAKING WAVES: An Ocean-Inspired Evening of Art & Giving 2026 Soup Up the Arts was....INCREDIBLE!!!! Record breaking in all aspects and our heads are still swimming. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation for our school, our club, our kids, our community, our sponsors, our supporters and to every single person who was a part of making this event happen! We will have a grand total of funds raised for the families by the end of March! It's a WOW number though!!
MORE Thank you posts are coming - we had sponsors coming in until last week! It's amazing!
A round TWO Facebook Silent Auction is ON THE way! In full transparency...we still have Soup Up the Arts decorations everywhere, we haven't seen the surface of our desks in weeks, the quarter is ending, Spring Break starts Saturday and grades are due soon, so we are a bit 🤪 in the art rooms right now, hahah!
---->BUT we have LOTS of wonderful and amazing things that will be up for auction! We are working on putting the items into groups, we still need to photograph them and then get them posted...it might not happen till this weekend, but we will keep it open for about a week to make sure everyone gets a chance to see what we have! Be sure to look at LOTS of pictures on the Facebook page: SHS Art Department.
