📸✨ Array Hunt Fun! ✨📸
Last week in math, we’ve been learning all about arrays to help us understand multiplication — and our 3rd graders took the learning home!

I asked students to find arrays around their house (like egg cartons, window panes, or cereal boxes) and take pictures to share. 🏠🔢

They did an amazing job spotting arrays everywhere! I love seeing how excited they are to connect math to the real world. 💛

Keep up the great work, 3rd graders — you’re becoming array experts! 🌟

🎨 Highlighting some amazing art from our talented artists at Memorial Elementary! Students have been learning about the elements of art, starting with line and color, and exploring a variety of art mediums like watercolor, oil pastels, and painting with markers. Our fifth graders are also beginning Tag Art — stay tuned for more information on that coming soon! 🌟

We had such a wonderful visit from the Chick-fil-A Million Book Give Away on September 29th! Our students loved having them visit!

As part of their commitment to fostering literacy, every student in our daycare received five brand new books to take home, along with a coupon for free food at their restaurant. What a generous gift!

This giveaway is part of the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, a national high school leadership program. The goal of the initiative is to donate one million books annually to underserved youth and spark a love of reading and imagination for young children. High school students in the Leader Academy package and deliver the book kits to local elementary schools, daycares, and non-profits like ours! We are so grateful for their service and dedication to our community's youth.

Happy National Coffee Day on Monday! ☕

The Memorial Elementary School PTO celebrated our amazing teachers and staff today by bringing in The Brew Crew, a fantastic local coffee truck! Our dedicated educators and staff enjoyed a refreshing and much-deserved drink to kick off their day.

It was wonderful to see the smiles on everyone's faces as they grabbed their favorite coffee, tea, or specialty beverage. We believe in showing our appreciation for all the hard work and passion our teachers pour into our students every single day. Moments like these help us all feel connected and energized!
