College for a Day on October 11 has been canceled.
There will be a workshop with our school board members on Thursday, October 17th at 3:30 PM. The Sebring Pre-K Center is first on the agenda and then they will be receiving information and have discussion about the way metal detectors will be used on our campuses. The district is planning to pilot use at Lake Placid High and The Academy At Youth Care Lane. We encourage parents to attend. Location: District Office Boardroom.
🎓Prince & Princess Nan-ces-O-Wee application - for Seniors only:
The 1953 annual Nan-Ces-O-Wee Yearbook held the first contest for a Princess and Prince, who were sponsored by a club on campus at Sebring High School. The couple would be chosen by local business people who were the judges of the contest.
As time has moved on, so has the tradition of Prince and Princess Nan-Ces-O-Wee at Sebring High School. Today, Seniors are able to apply for the honor to be chosen for the title for Prince and Princess Nan-Ces-O-Wee by completing the following requirements:
*Submit a completed application
*Submit a 500 word essay explaining why you feel you should be chosen Prince or Princess Nan-Ces-O-Wee representing the Sebring High School's Class of 2025 and what would this honor mean to you?
*Submit your Senior current high school transcript
*Submit a photo of yourself
An educator/professor from at least one major school or college/university will make the final decision. The candidates will be revealed in May when the yearbooks are released.
ALL requirements, including Senior high school transcript must be submitted by Friday, November 15th via the Google Form and to Ms. Carcamo in room 204.

📢 Chromebook Contracts & Fees Update
As of September 12, 2024, we’ve received 679 contracts and 672 fees for this school year. Great start, but remember—every student needs a contract and fee signed by a parent every year.
A message has been posted in Skyward, and an email has been sent to families if anything is missing. Please check to see if you still need to turn in a contract, fee, or both. The last day to submit contracts and fees is Friday, October 4, 2024.
